Our journey took us to Jarabacoa’s Octavia Gautier de Vidal Hospital, where once again, we orchestrated the logistics for a dedicated team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses from New York, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.
Specialties:
- Pediatric surgeries: Inguinal hernias, umbilical hernias, circumcisions
- Plastic surgeries: Burns, congenital deformities
- ENT surgeries: Adenoids and tonsillitis
Outcome: 96 children received life-changing surgeries in just 4 days
We also brought comfort to 50 elderly residents at a nursing home in Jarabacoa, donating wheelchairs and beds to ease their days.
